Hello everyone,
I’m a 34-year-old, soon to be 35, data analyst, currently residing in the lush and rainy city of Dublin, Ireland.
For quite some time now, I’ve been experimenting with various forms of exercise and wellness activities. Whether it’s yoga, pilates, running, weight training, or cultivating healthy habits and exploring mental health and positive psychology apps, I’ve dabbled in it all.
Improving my fitness and overall wellbeing is a lifelong pursuit for me. Some weeks, I succeed admirably, while others, well, not so much! As a data analyst, I have a penchant for tracking and planning things, although I certainly could be more consistent.
In this blog, I’m dedicated to sharing my wellness and fitness journey with you, offering practical tips along the way. My current objectives include:
- Completing my first 5k run without prior serious running experience.
- Achieving weight loss in a healthy and sustainable manner.
- Enhancing muscle mass through my current weight training regimen.
- Exploring the great outdoors.
- Cultivating better habits while minimizing or eliminating detrimental ones, such as reducing alcohol consumption and cooking more at home.
- Maintaining my mental health while juggling these goals alongside a demanding full-time job.
While my write-ups may feature less technology, fear not! That’s why we have two bloggers here, with the possibility of guest bloggers joining us in the future to delve into the topics they specialize in.
This blog is merely an exploration ground, a playground of sorts. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we’re eager to share what has and hasn’t worked for us.
I firmly believe that we’re all a work in progress and should continuously strive to better ourselves year after year. So, let’s calm our minds and move our bodies together!
